Jennifer Todd joined the Florez lab in summer 2012. Her current projects include genetic determinants of diabetic kidney disease, the pharmacogenetics of metformin response in the Diabetes Prevention Program, and pharmacogenetics of metformin response in children with type 2 diabetes. She received her MD from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, completed pediatric training at the University of Rochester, and a pediatric endocrinology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital. In addition to her research in the Florez lab, she sees children with diabetes and other endocrine disorders at Boston Children’s Hospital. When she’s not in the lab or hospital, she enjoys soccer, hiking, cycling, and anything she can do outdoors with her family.
